/most_viewed/players/player/icons/injuryIf the player is injured, this field will exist and indicate the injury in the format: {injury}: {expected time of return}
/most_viewed/players/player/bye_weekA number to denote the bye-week for a pro team (only applicable to football).
/most_viewed/players/player/is_lockedA boolean to denote if a player is locked (can not be involved in any add/drops, trades, and lineup moves as the player’s team’s game has already started).
/most_viewed/players/player/opponentPlayer’s opponent (only available for football).

Most Viewed

Description

A list of the pro players who have been viewed most often within a fantasy league.  The list is in order, with the most viewed at the top.

Player information includes the player’s name, ID, pro team, position, roster status, number of times viewed, and a link to their profile.

Retrieve a list of most viewed players

http://api.cbssports.com/fantasy/players/roster-trends/most-viewed?version=2.0

Parameters

response_format(optional) Specifies the format in which the requested resource should be returned.  Valid values are XML and JSON.  The default is XML.
position(optional, can only be used in league context) - Limits the players returned to ones that are eligible at the specified position
player_status(optional, can only be used in league context) - Limits the players returned to ones that match the player_status (defaults to all, other valid values are free_agents and owned)
limit(optional) Return only this number of players.

A container element for the most viewed players.

/most_viewed/players

A container element for the list of players.

/most_viewed/players/player

Container element for a player in the list of most viewed players.

/most_viewed/players/player/@id

The ID of the player.  You can use this ID to get more information about the player by requesting the Player Outlook resource or the Player Updates resource.

/most_viewed/players/player/firstname

The first name of the player.

/most_viewed/players/player/fullname

The full name of the player.  The value is equivlent to the values of /most_viewed/players/player/firstname and /most_viewed/players/player/lastname joined by a space.

/most_viewed/players/player/icons

A container element for the player’s update and injury icons.

/most_viewed/players/player/icons/headline

The headline of the player’s latest news update.

/most_viewed/players/player/lastname

The last name of the player.

/most_viewed/players/player/on_waivers

A boolean to denote if a player is on waivers in a fantasy league or no.

/most_viewed/players/player/position

An abbreviation for the primary position of the player.  You can get a list of the abbreviations and their expansions by requesting the Positions resource.

/most_viewed/players/player/pro_status

Specifies the roster status of the player on the player’s pro team.  Possible values are A (Active), M (Minors), U (Unaffiliated), N (Not With Team), DL (Disabled List), and S (Suspended).

/most_viewed/players/player/pro_team

An abbreviation for the player’s pro team.

/most_viewed/players/player/profile_link

A snippet of HTML code containing a link to the player’s profile.

/most_viewed/players/player/profile_url

The absolute URL for the CBSSports.com profile for a player.  This URL should be used to link to the page outside of the iFframe in which your app resides.

/most_viewed/players/player/recent_views

The number of times the player has been viewed in the past three (3) hours.  The URL of the players profile is given in /most_viewed/players/player/profile_url.

/most_viewed/players/player/total_views

The number of times this player’s profile has been viewed today.  The URL of the players profile is given in /most_viewed/players/player/profile_url.

/most_viewed/players/player/icons/injury

If the player is injured, this field will exist and indicate the injury in the format: {injury}: {expected time of return}

/most_viewed/players/player/bye_week

A number to denote the bye-week for a pro team (only applicable to football).

/most_viewed/players/player/is_locked

A boolean to denote if a player is locked (can not be involved in any add/drops, trades, and lineup moves as the player’s team’s game has already started).

/most_viewed/players/player/opponent

Player’s opponent (only available for football).

The first name of the player.
